Senior / Associate Geotechnical Engineer
An opportunity currently exists for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to play a key role in this busy global geotechnical business.
This position is based in Sydney's CBD, with most of their client's projects being in the Sydney area which means it would be extremely rare for any travel outside of Sydney Metro.
Sound technical and reporting abilities and managing client expectations in regards to delivering work are the key skills required in this role. The project focus is mostly on ground investigation reporting for multi-storey residential and commercial developments...so so will include foundation and pile inspections, retaining walls etc. Design experience would also be useful.
We need a Geotechnical Consultant who has a passion for their work and a 'can-do' , client focused attitude.
To succeed in this role you will require:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering and/or Geotechnical Engineering;
- Current CENG or equivalent eligibility for chartered membership of relevant associations is preferred;
- Local Residential, Commercial geotech project experienceis essential (NOT mining).
- Geotechnical Engineering Consulting experience - around 10 years+ worth.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills;
- A strong client focus and attention to detail;
- Great interpersonal skills.
